One of the most basic and critical functions of the Chamber is to serve as a resource of information for our members and the community. In order to do that most effectively, it is important that we focus our resources on supporting our members in carrying out their day-to-day activities. We are committed to helping our members maintain continuity of service, make payroll, and take care of their customers and employees. This resource page was designed to provide you easy-to-access, credible information about the virus; how to work remotely; assistance for small business; and a list of restaurants and other members that offer take-out, and curbside service. If you’re doing something unique to help your team or others get through this situation, we’d love to know about it. We are an email, call or Facebook message away.

Recovery Plan for Lancaster County from the EDC and the Lancaster Chamber
Sunday, April 26, 2020
A Joint Message from Tom Baldrige, President & CEO of the Lancaster Chamber and Lisa Riggs, President of the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County
Getting Ready
Today, we share Lancaster County’s Economic Recovery Plan, a document that will serve to support Lancaster’s extraordinary business community in getting ready for the next chapter of life with COVID-19. While we must stay vigilant to the continued public health threat and adhere to the guidance of federal and state public health leaders, we also must ensure we are looking forward as a County.
We believe the strategies laid out and the urgent actions proposed give business leaders, business owners, employees and community stakeholders a sense of confidence that as a community we are prepared – to support each other, to be safe and smart and to deploy our time, talent and resources efficiently and effectively. For many businesses – particularly Lancaster’s smaller businesses – the road ahead is challenging and overwhelming. This plan won’t provide every answer to every question; it’s a starting point and a path forward.
There is considerable work ahead for all of us. Our strongest success comes from working together, as Lancaster County has a history of doing. Read the plan on the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce website HERE
