Small business is a vital part of the U.S. economy. With the ongoing news and concerns of COVID-19, SCORE shares trusted business guidance, assistance, and resources.

In-Person Events Are Suspended, But Online Support Is Available:
The health of small business owners, their employees, and the SCORE Lancaster-Lebanon network of volunteers remain our top priority. In the wake of recent developments relating to COVID-19, SCORE is temporarily suspending in-person events until further notice. However, continued support is fully available through several online opportunities outlined below.

Local Chapter Workshops & Events:
All in-person workshops and events are postponed. However, our Education Committee has offered a robust schedule of workshops & seminars to keep your small business updated and informed. Learn about the latest events here.

Mentoring:
While our office at 313 West Liberty Street and our satellite mentoring location at the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce is closed for in-person mentoring, mentors are still available to help. Mentoring sessions can be held via phone, email, video and chat services. If you already have a mentor, contact them to set-up a remote mentoring session. If you don’t yet have a SCORE mentor, you can request a SCORE mentor.

Education

MANHEIM CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Manheim Central School District is a School District of the Third Class, organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The governing body of the school district is a board of nine directors who are each elected for a term of four-years. The daily operation and management of the school district is carried out by the administrative staff, headed by the Superintendent of Schools who is appointed by the Board of School Directors.

The District is comprised of the Borough of Manheim and the Townships of Penn and Rapho (collectively, the "municipalities"). Located in northwestern Lancaster County, the school district encompasses 78.2 square miles of scenic and productive agricultural lands being increasingly converted to residential use. The school district lies approximately seven miles north of the City of Lancaster, approximately eighty miles west of the City of Philadelphia and twenty-five miles east of the City of Harrisburg.
